This was the first time I’d visited Valerie French salon. It was easy to book on line and pay a deposit. I received emails reminding me of the appointment. I was warmly welcomed. The salon was inviting and well laid out. I had a fabulous haircut and blow dry and left as a very happy client. I’ll definitely go back.

I'm so glad I found the Valerie French hair salon! All the staff are incredibly lovely and friendly, which creates such a warm, welcoming atmosphere and really enhances the whole experience. The young girl who washes my hair always chats with me about her training progress — I was so pleased to hear she recently passed her exams! Lisa, who has been styling my hair for the past year or so, is absolutely fabulous. I feel especially lucky that she enjoys working with curly hair — it makes such a difference. Highly recommend!

Hannah was amazing! I finally found “my” hairdresser after trialling and testing several hairdressers in the area! Hannah asked me lots of questions to understand what I like and listened attentively, she suggested different options which we discussed, I chose what I wanted and she delivered the result exactly as expected! Hannah is not only a great professional but a lovely person as well - being in the salon for a few hours can be so boring but I felt I was talking to a friend so time passed by pretty quickly. There were 2 other lovely hairdressers which were busy as well, but it was so nice to see that when they were available they were all helping each other, nice teamwork and culture in the salon. I’m very happy with my hair and the overall experience (and I loved the coffee too hahaha), will be coming back again! :)

Five star review for a five star haircut. Staff are all so friendly and approachable. The salon is spotless. Comfiest massage chair when having hair washed. Great price for the experience, my hair is lush and looking incredible! I was genuinely impressed by the end result! Thank you to all the fabulous staff! I will be a returning customer 🥰 highly recommend Valerie French for the service you receive there! Update:- I have had THREE MEN who know me well notice my hair without me having to say anything about my hair first, they all say it looks really good! That's definitely saying something as men do NOT notice a haircut 😂
